"The Governor-General [of Canada] signed an agreement on the free trade area between Ukraine and Canada, after my meeting with the Canadian Deputy Minister of Trade, while I was en route from Ottawa to Toronto. This means that Ukrainian producers will soon receive additional opportunities, such as a zero rate for 98% of goods of Ukrainian origin. Therefore, we will do our best to ensure that the final procedures take place as soon as possible and the agreement comes into effect in August this year," Mykolska wrote on Facebook on Friday.

As UNIAN reported, Canada on June 2 completed the CUFTA ratification procedures after Ukraine.
