Transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transportation system (GTS) in January-May 2017 increased by 21.8% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 38.3 billion cubic meters, according to Ukrtransgaz, Ukraine's state-run gas transport system operator.
Some 7.2 billion cubic meters of gas was pumped through the GTS to Europe in May this year, which was 10.8% up y-o-y, it said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transport system in 2016 grew by 23% from 2015, to 82.2 billion cubic meters.
