Ukraine saw a 0.9% decline in agricultural production in January-May 2017 year-over-year, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
In particular, agri-businesses reduced output by 1%, while private farmers' production was 0.8% down year-over-year.
Read alsoUkraine to boost agriculture subsidies to US$308 mln by 2020The report notes that the report cites the data in constant 2010 prices without taking into account the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as part of the zone of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the east of Ukraine.
As UNIAN reported, agricultural production in Ukraine grew by 6.1% in 2016 from to 2015. Agricultural enterprises' output in 2016 was 9.8% up, while private farmers boosted production by 1.5%.
