Oil production in Ukraine decreased by 5.4% to 654,000 tonnes in January-May 2017 year-on-year (y-o-y), according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Oil production in May compared with April 2017 decreased by 1.2% to 135,000 tonnes. Compared to May 2016, oil production fell by 2.9%.

The largest oil and gas companies in Ukraine are the subsidiaries of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine – Ukrgazvydobuvannia and Ukrnafta, in which Naftogaz owns a controlling stake.
