Ukrainian gas reserves up to 11 bcm

Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (USFs) on June 17 – June 26, 2017, increased by 3.3%, or 355 million cubic meters (mcm), from 10.851 billion cubic meters (bcm) to 11.206 bcm, according to the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz.

The daily volume of gas injection into the USFs was estimated at about 54 mcm as of June 26.

It also determined the volume of fuel reserves to provide heat and electricity to consumers. Ukraine began the 2016-2017 heating season with gas reserves at 14.7 billion cubic meters, completing it with 8.4 billion cubic meters.

On March 13, Ukrtransgaz reported that Ukraine had stopped pumping gas from storage facilities and began injecting it back in.
