Ukraine produced 431,000 tonnes of bread and bakery products in January-May 2017, which was 7.6% down year-over-year, according to Ukraine's State Statistics Service.
In May 2017 alone, Ukraine produced 90,000 tonnes of bread, which was 5.3% up on April 2017 and 3% down on May 2016.

The report does not include information from temporarily occupied areas in Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as Donbas.
As UNIAN reported earlier, production of bread and bakery products in 2016 was 1.12 million tonnes, which was 7.1% down on 2015. Flour production in 2016 declined by 4.8%, to 1.94 million tonnes.
