China-based company Shandong Qingneng Power Co., Ltd. plans to build a thermal power plant in the town of Dobromyl, Lviv region's Staryi Sambir district in western Ukraine, according to Lviv Regional State Administration.
"We are interested in developing the thermal energy sector, as with growing investment, the region's enterprises require more resources," Lviv Regional Governor Oleh Syniutka has said.
Representative of Shandong Qingneng Power Co., Ltd. Wang Ifeng said that the investors were interested in building a thermal power plant in Lviv region that will use resources of Ukrlis Holding involved in wood processing.
