Director General of the All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers Oleh Nazarenko says an import duty rate on used cars produced in Canada will be set at 0% regardless of a country from which vehicles have been imported to Ukraine.
"Let me explain: the zero duty shall be applicable to used cars of Canadian origin (that is, produced in Canada) rather than to those exported from Canada! Six car concerns have plants there ...," he wrote on Facebook.

The new rates will take effect from August 2017 under the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement.
