Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has created an ad hoc group to put an end to the crisis in the coal industry, according to a respective resolution posted on the government's website.
Ukraine's deputy prime minister is expected to head the group, while the country's energy and coal industry minister will be his deputy.

It envisages an increase in coal extraction at state-owned mines with their transition to non-subsidized operation within one year.
Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk said that Ukraine should privatize all state coal mines after the coal reform is over and they start working without loss.
