The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by five kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.06 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for July 6:
$100 costs UAH 2,606.0308 (on July 6, it was UAH 2,611.9317);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,966.9661 (on July 6, it was UAH 2,959.0574);
10 RUB costs UAH 4.3259 (on July 6, it was UAH 4.3840).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.6996/29.7198 while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4342/0.4349.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.0603 to the dollar, with 462 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $252.16 million.
