The Ukrainian Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NERC) has issued a license to MET Ukraine LLC, a subsidiary of the international gas trader MET Holding AG, for operation in Ukraine.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the NERC early in June licensed Trafigura Ukraine, a subsidiary of one of the world's largest energy traders, Trafigura.

UNIAN memo. MET Ukraine LLC is a 100% subsidiary of the Switzerland based MET Holding AG which is one of the leading commodity traders in the CEE region.
MET Ukraine LLC was established in 2016 in order to represent MET Group's strategy in Ukraine in terms of natural gas, electricity, oil and oil products. The primary activity of the company is customer specified supply of natural gas to both wholesale as well as retail segments of the Ukrainian market.
MET Holding AG was founded in 2012 and is based in Zug, Switzerland. MET Holding AG operates as a subsidiary of WISD Holding Ltd, according to Bloomberg.
MET Group is represented in 13 European countries, with almost 500 permanent staff in Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
