Ukraine boosts electricity exports by almost 60% in H1

Ukraine boosted electricity exports by 59.5% in January-June 2017 (H1), to US$136.4 million year-over-year (y-o-y), according to Ukraine's State Fiscal Service.

Hungary accounted for 57.4% of electricity sales abroad, the share of Moldova was about 20.6% and that of Poland was about 17.4%.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine saw a 1.3% increase in foreign currency receipts from electricity exports, to $152 million in 2016 from 2015.
