The Ukrainian bus manufacturer Bogdan Motors is launching mass production of Bogdan A22115 buses with gas engines, according to the company's press service.
"This will allow the company to enter new markets and will provide the enterprise with orders. The new models of buses, trolleybuses and electric buses, including those with gas engines, fully comply with domestic and European environmental standards," the press service said in a statement.
The Bogdan A22115 operates on methane; therefore, its level of harmful emissions is minimum compared that of diesel or gasoline engines.

The enterprise is currently capable of manufacturing up to 2,200 buses of the new model per year, it said.
