"Yesterday I met with the new IMF resident representative in Ukraine Gösta Ljungman and congratulated him on his appointment. We discussed further cooperation and steps for the successful implementation of the IMF program. I am sure that Ljungman's experience will help to carry on the history of the successful changes that we have already achieved in a fruitful partnership with the IMF," Danyliuk wrote on Facebook.

However, the relevant legislative initiatives have not been considered in parliament yet.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said earlier that the IMF would postpone the allocation of the next tranche to Ukraine worth $1.9 billion due to the unpreparedness of the parliament to adopt a land reform before the end of the current session (July 15). The reform provides for the purchase and sale of agricultural land by Ukrainian citizens.
