Ukraine boosted electricity exports by 44.6% in January-June 2017 (H1), to 3.164 billion kWh year-over-year (y-o-y), the press service of Ukraine's Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry reported.
Hungary accounted for 52.9% of electricity sales abroad (1.678 billion kWh), the share of Moldova was 22% (695 million kWh), Poland – 19.5% (615 million kWh), Slovakia – 3.2% (100.3 million kWh), and Romania – 2.4% (74.4 million kWh).
Power exports in June increased by 67.8% y-o-y to 545.1 million kWh.
