Transit shipments of natural gas from Russia through the Ukrainian gas transportation system (GTS) grew by 22.8% in January-July 2017, to 52.3 billion cubic meters (bcm) year-over-year, according to the press service of the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz.
This is a record high amount of transit gas in the past six years, it said.

Transit shipments of gas in January-June 2017 increased by 21%, to 45.7 bcm.
