Naftogaz boasts UAH 72 bln in taxes, dividends paid

The national oil and gas holding Naftogaz of Ukraine paid UAH 71.8 billion in taxes and dividends to the state budget in seven months of 2017, while in 2016 this amount was UAH 74 billion, the company press service reports.

"For seven months of 2017, Naftogaz Group paid UAH 71.8 billion in taxes to the state budget (according to operational data as of August 1, 2017) and dividends. The revenues from Naftogaz Group accounted for 16% of the total revenues of the state budget for seven months of 2017," the report said.

At the end of June 2017, Naftogaz completed the transfer to the state budget of dividends for 2016 in the amount of UAH 13.3 billion.

UNIAN memo. Naftogaz of Ukraine is Ukraine’s largest state-owned vertically integrated oil and gas company, with its enterprises producing about 90% of all gas and oil extracted across Ukraine.

The company is engaged in the development of deposits, extraction of oil and gas, their transportation, as well as the sale of petroleum products through its own network of filling stations.
