The Ukrainian State Property Fund (SPF) plans to sell the first small-scale privatization facilities via ProZorro.Sales electronic platform already in September, according to the SPF's Facebook page.
"While Ukraine's Justice Ministry is developing the fund's order to approve the procedure for a pilot project to sale small-scale privatization objects via ProZorro.Sales, we are actively selecting the businesses that can become the first ones [to be sold]. SPF Head Dmytro Parfenenko notes that the first auction can be held in September. We are expecting the relevant order any day now," the Fund said in a statement.
At the same time, the SPF noted that the state owns an excessive amount of property, which could be used more efficiently, calling on businesses to actively participate in the auctions.

The State Property Fund together with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has developed a draft law on privatization, which provides for the sale of small-scale facilities via electronic platforms, such as ProZorro.Sales.
ProZorro Project Manager Oleksiy Sobolev said earlier that the SPF and the ministry planned to simplify the procedure for alienating state property for further sale through ProZorro e-system.
