Major taxpayers boost transfers to Ukrainian budget by 21% in H1

Ukraine's largest taxpayers increased by 21%, or UAH 31 billion (US$1.2 billion), their transfers to the state budget in January-June 2017 (H1) year-over-year (y-o-y), that is, to UAH 176.6 billion ($6.8 billion), head of the major payers department of the State Fiscal Service Yevhen Bambizov wrote on Facebook.

"The introduction of a position of a personal consultant for each major tax payer and the gradual automation of processes are showing excellent results. Especially since the economy, albeit slowly, is recovering from the crisis. This means that revenues will continue to grow," he noted.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the surplus of Ukraine's national budget in January-June 2017 was estimated at UAH 29.035 billion, or $1.1 billion, against a deficit at UAH 35 billion, or $1.4 billion, y-o-y.
