Prices of agricultural products in Ukraine rise by 10% since year-start

Ukraine’s agricultural enterprises increased the average prices of their products by 9.9% in January-July 2017 compared with the same period in 2016, the State Statistics Service reported.

According to the report, crop production increased by 2.7% during the reporting period, while livestock was up 45% compared with the same month last year.

Agricultural products increased in price by 0.3% in July against June.

In particular, crop products went up in price by 0.3%, while livestock products dropped by 0.6%.

In particular, the cost of crop products grew 6.1%, while livestock cost increased by 28.6%.

The output of plant growing last year went up by 16.3%, while livestock production increased by 1.7%.
