The total loss of Ukrainian solvent banks was estimated at UAH 223 million in January-July 2017, which was by 41.5 times down from the total loss year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
Ukraine's solvent banks received UAH 1.43 billion in profit over the period under review.
According to the NBU, incomes of banks for January-July amounted to UAH 101.624 billion, which is almost the same y-o-y, while expenses decreased by UAH 9.027 billion or 8.1%, to UAH 101.846 billion.
