World Bank allocates almost $12 bln to Ukraine for 25 years

The World Bank has allocated $11.605 billion to finance investment projects in Ukraine for 25 years, according to the Ukrainian finance ministry's website.

According to the report, the funds were directed to the institutional development of public authorities, support of certain directions and projects in priority sectors and spheres, as well as systemic projects aimed at supporting reforms and balancing Ukraine's state budget.

Over the past two years, the World Bank Group has provided Ukraine with about $4.7 billion in the form of budgetary financial assistance, investment operations, and private sector financing.
