Prices for natural gas will significantly decrease after Ukraine boosts own production of "blue" fuel to the level of self-sufficiency, which will be achieved by 2020, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman told a government meeting Wednesday.
"Then, when we become a country that will be able to meet its own needs. In 2020, we will be able to proceed to a completely different price formula for the Ukrainian gas. It will be much cheaper than it is now. It will become cheaper, not for a month or two, but once and for all," Groysman said.

We will be completely independent in the matter of providing gas to the municipal thermal power companies and the population," Groysman said.
