Poroshenko on future: Ukraine's economic growth to accelerate to 4%

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said the growth of Ukraine's economy in 2017 may reach 1.8% and will accelerate to 4% by 2020.

"We forecast an increase at 1.8% this year. We expect that in 2020 economic growth will accelerate to 4%," the president said during an annual address to the Ukrainian parliament.

According to the central bank`s forecasts, Ukraine's GDP growth in 2017 is expected at 1.9%, while in 2018 the growth is expected at 3.2%, and in 2019 - at 4%.
