Turkish company to construct a modern milling facility in Ukraine - media

Turkey’s Alapala Makina, an industrial unit of Alapala Group, is now in talks about supplying equipment for constructing a large milling facility in Ukraine. The project is being implemented in partnership with PJSC Agrarian Fund, according to UkrAgroConsult.

The location of the future plant is still under discussion. Supposedly, this may be Kyiv region, which features a very high concentration of bakery facilities, UkrAgroConsult wrote.

The new mill’s capacity will supposedly be at 150 MT of grain a day. The amount to be invested is EUR 4.5 Ml.

At the same time, the Agrarian Fund has no own production facilities. Nevertheless, the company has seized 12% of the domestic flour market and is now actively developing its exports.
