"[This order has been issued] to place the following property under arrest… [namely] non-residential premises…, which are located at 23 Kyrylivska Street, Kyiv … facilities and other real estates of the beverage and juice plant at 135 Berehova Street, Dnipropetrovsk (Dnipro)," reads the document.

In addition, a large number of other assets is subject to seizure, including a Boeing 767 aircraft, registered with the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine, and a number of land plots in Odesa region.

The court decided to seize the said objects based on a petition of the prosecutor's office, which stated that the management of PrivatBank "through abuse of office embezzled property in 2014, namely state funds of the National Bank of Ukraine to the tune of over UAH 19 billion (US$729 million), allocated for PrivatBank refinancing."

At the same time, the court stated that the petition of the prosecutor's office was considered in absence of the owners of the arrested property, therefore the latter have the right to file their petition for the abolition of arrest.
