The August index of consumer sentiment in Ukraine increased by 0.1 points, to 58.6, according to a research by GfK Ukraine.
The index of the expected dynamics of unemployment fell by six points to 134.8, while the index of inflationary expectations decreased by 0.6 points, to 185.5, it said.
At the same time, the index of expected economic development for this year increased by 2.2 points in August compared to July, amounting to 57.8, while the index of expected economic development over the next five years increased by 2.3 points, to 72.2.

"The consumer sentiment index in Ukraine has been stable for four months in a row. The only worsening in August concerned only the assessment of the current situation, which may be due to additional costs of some households due to the beginning of the school year," GfK Ukraine said.
As UNIAN reported, the consumer sentiment index in July 2017 decreased by 0.8 points compared to June, to 58.5.
