Odesa-Gdansk highway to connect Baltic, Black seas

Some UAH 4 billion will be allocated for the construction of the high-speed Gdansk-Odesa (GO) Highway, which will connect Poland’s Gdansk and Ukraine’s Odesa, the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported citing Minister Volodymyr Omelyan as saying.

"We are separately building an autobahn that will connect the Baltic and Black Seas - GO Highway (Gdansk-Odesa). A separate sum of UAH 4 billion is allocated to this end for 2018," Omelyan said, according to the press service.

UNIAN memo. Ukravtodor, state-owned operator of Ukrainian roads, has been developing the GO Highway project, which will connect the Black Sea resort and port city of Odesa, and Poland’s Gdansk at the Baltic Sea coast.
