Ukraine sees reduction in pork, beef output since year's start

However, pork production in August this year increased by 6.7% from July 2017 but decreased by 12.9% from August 2016, to 21,500 tonnes.

Output of fresh or chilled beef in January-August 2017 decreased by 4.3% compared to the same period in 2016, to 34,300 tonnes.

Output of fresh or chilled poultry meat in January-August 2017 increased by 16.6% compared to the same period in 2016, to 549,000 tonnes.

In August 2017 alone, Ukraine produced 58,300 tonnes of fresh poultry meat, which was 0.9% less than in July this year and 1.5% more than in August last year.
