Swine fever outbreak recorded in Lviv region near border with Poland

A new case of African swine fever (ASF) was recorded in Lviv region's Staryi Sambir District on the border with Poland on September 26, according to Lviv Regional State Administration, referring to the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service.

As reported, lab tests have confirmed that pigs from a private farm located in the village of Hroziovo of Staryi Sambir District were infected.
