The average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine decreased by 3.1% in August 2017 from July 2017, while it rose by 36.6% year-over-year (y-o-y), to UAH 7,114, or US$268, according to the State Statistics Service.
Real wages in Ukraine dropped by 3% in August 2017 against July 2017, whereas they grew by 17.2% from August 2016, the report said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the minimum wage in Ukraine has more than doubled since January 1, 2017, to UAH 3,200 ($121).

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said earlier that the average salary in Ukraine would be UAH 10,000 ($377) in the medium term.
