Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt in August 2017 rose by 0.7%, or US$0.5 billion, to $76.56 billion as of August 31, according to the Finance Ministry's website.
The total sum of the debt in the hryvnia equivalent for the said period shrank by 0.7%, or UAH 12.82 billion, to UAH 1.958 trillion.
According to the given data, the state and state guaranteed debt in January-August 2017 grew by 7.9% in the dollar equivalent, or by 1.5% in the hryvnia equivalent.
