Natural gas imports in January-September 2017 grew by 70% year-over-year, to 10.7 billion cubic meters, according to the press service of the Ukrainian GTS operator, Ukrtransgaz.
"Gas imports from Russia were zero, those from the EU were 10.7 billion cubic meters, which was 70% up on the same period of 2017," it said.

Last year, gas was purchased only in the EU. In particular, Slovakia supplied 9.1 billion cubic meters, Hungary and Poland sold 1 billion cubic meters each.
