Ukrainian exports to the U.S. in January-July 2017 grew 2.2 times year-over-year, amounting to $471 million, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade reported on Twitter, citing Minister Stepan Kubiv's address during the seventh meeting of the Ukrainian-American Trade and Investment Council.
"Over the seven months of 2017, exports from Ukraine to the United States grew 2.2 times, to $471 million," Kubiv said.
According to the official, the exports of Ukrainian goods to the U.S. totaled $426.6 million in 2016. At the same time, in the current year, the growth of exports was achieved due to the increase in supplies of ferrous metals – by 2.4 times.
