NBU strengthens official exchange rate to UAH 26.79 to dollar

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for October 6:

$100 costs UAH 2,679.9684 (on October 5, it was UAH 2,680.8805);

EUR 100 costs UAH 3,146.8189 (on October 5, it was UAH 3,159.9538);

10 RUB costs UAH 4.6543 (on October 5, it was UAH 4.6396).

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 31.41/31.43 while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4541/0.4547.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.7997 to the dollar, with 634 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $407.72 million.
