Ukraine's monetary base shrinks by 1.5 % in Sept

Ukraine's monetary base decreased by 1.5% in September 2017, to UAH 373.4 billion, or US$14 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) website.

The monetary base has shrunk by 2.1% since the beginning of the year, the report said.

According to the data provided, the money supply grew by 1.7% in September, and it has expanded by 1.9% since the beginning of the year, to UAH 1.123 trillion, or $42.2 billion.
