Ukraine's major taxpayers boost payments to budget by 21% since year-start

Ukrainian major taxpayers in January-September 2017 transferred UAH 194 billion, or US$7.3 billion, to the state budget of Ukraine, which was 21%, or UAH 33.2 billion ($1.3 billion) up year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the Ukrainian State Fiscal Service website.

The share of tax payments coming from major businesses, serviced by the Large Taxpayers Office, was 57.8% of the total tax revenues to the state budget.

In terms of basic taxes, the state budget over the nine months received: UAH 85.3 billion ($3.2 billion) in value-added tax, UAH 47 billion ($1.7 billion) in excise tax, and UAH 36.9 billion ($1.4 billion) in income tax.
