Groysman: Ukraine's state budget-2018 provides for UAH 165 bln for defense

"We planned UAH 165 billion for security and defense in the budget for economic growth for 2018. Enterprises of the defense complex will provide the army with new tanks, new airplanes, armored and military vehicles. Our defenders will have modern weapons and equipment, as well as decent wages. My principle is that the developed economy of the state is a protected country," Groysman said in a video message on the occasion of the Defender Day.

As reported earlier, the amount of security and defense spending exceeded UAH 120 billion in 2017.
