Ukraine's individual entrepreneurs in January-September increased overall payments of single tax by 51.1%, or by UAH 3.8 billion, to UAH 11.1 billion, the State Fiscal Service reported on Facebook.
According to the report, the dynamics of budget revenue growth and the number of payers of single tax is observed due to the improvement of the level of tax administration, in particular, easing of business environment and optimization of groups of payers within a simplified system.
"Each year, the State Fiscal Service records the dynamics of the increase by UAH 2-3 billion in revenues from single tax payers. A total of 70% of the deductions are mainly come from the third group of entrepreneurs. The volume of the single tax paid amounted to almost UAH 3.5 billion in 2014, in 2015 it totaled UAH 4.8 billion, and in 2016 the third group of entrepreneurs paid almost UAH 8.4 billion. Over the first nine months of this year alone the volume of the single tax paid amounted to more than UAH 8 billion," reads the report.
According to the State Fiscal Service, as of October 1, more than 1.2 million entrepreneurs were registered who use a simplified taxation system, which is 137,000 more than in the same period last year.
