NBU strengthens official exchange rate to UAH 26.48 to dollar

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for October 18:

US$100 costs UAH 2,648.4328 (on October 17, it was UAH 2,653.7958);

EUR 100 costs UAH 3,114.2921 (on October 17, it was UAH 3,134.1328);

10 RUB costs UAH 4.6189 (on October 17, it was UAH 4.6057).

On Tuesday, October 17, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.45/26.47 to the dollar, a commercial bank dealer told UNIAN.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 26.4843 to the dollar, with 572 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $322.88 million.
