Naftogaz raises gas prices for industry from Nov1

National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine will raise the minimum prices of natural gas for industrial consumers by 7.8% as of November 1, 2017, from UAH 8,164.8 ($307.7) per 1,000 cubic meters in October to UAH 8,805.6 ($331.9) per 1,000 cubic meters, the company said in a statement.

At the same time, the maximum prices of natural gas for industrial consumers will be increased by 7.5% as of November 1, from UAH 9,016.8 ($339.9) per 1,000 cubic meters in October to UAH 9,692.4 ($365.3) per 1,000 cubic meters.

Naftogaz's quotations are differentiated depending on the volume of purchase, terms of payment and the payment history, the company said.

All prices include VAT.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a new law on the natural gas market came into force in Ukraine on October 1, 2015, which deprived Ukraine's National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission of the right to establish prices of natural gas for the industry.

Naftogaz raised the minimum prices of natural gas for industrial consumers by 3% in October 2017, to UAH 8,164.8 per 1,000 cubic meters against September 2017, as well as increased the maximum prices 3%, to UAH 9,016.8 per 1,000 cubic meters.
