State Oschadbank's profit expands by 9.3% since year's start

Profit of one of Ukraine's largest state-run banks, Oschadbank, in January-September 2017 grew by 9.3%, year-over-year, to UAH 448.757 million, or US$16.8 million, according to an announcement on the bank's official website.

The bank's assets in the nine months expanded by 5.2%, to UAH 221.631 billion, while it liabilities increased by 0.3%, to UAH 195.548 billion.

UNIAN memo. Oschadbank, or the State Savings Bank of Ukraine, was registered by the National Bank of Ukraine on December 31, 1991. It is wholly owned by the state. In 2016, the bank posted UAH 468.17 million in net profit against 2015 losses estimated at UAH 12.3 billion.
