Akhmetov's DTEK Oil&Gas to obtain license for gas supplies

A subdivision of Ukraine's largest vertically integrated energy holding DTEK, owned by Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov, DTEK Oil&Gas, the producer of natural gas and gas condensate, expects to obtain Nov. 16 a license for natural gas supplies within Ukraine, according to a draft resolution of Ukraine's National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission.

"[The order has been issued] to grant a license to DTEK Oil&Gas to conduct economic activities related to supply of natural gas in the territory of Ukraine," reads the document.

As UNIAN reported earlier, DTEK Oil&Gas boosted its gas production by 3% to 1.24 billion cubic meters over the first nine months of 2017.
