The SBU Security Service of Ukraine says the participants of the liquefied gas market have not paid UAH 1.3 billion (US$49 million) is taxes and mandatory deductions.
"Law enforcers have established that a number of domestic enterprises, namely gas suppliers, traders, as well as wholesale and retail fuel companies, have set up an illegal scheme to minimize taxes and mandatory payments," the SBU wrote on Facebook.
During raids, law enforcement operatives seized documentation, data carriers, seals, and fictitious contracts for the sale of liquefied gas through conversion centers.

Noteworthy, the special operation was part of the criminal investigation into the illegal mechanism for the sales of liquefied gas in Ukraine's market.
