Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says Ukraine must achieve economic growth exceeding 5% in 2018, while the next year's budget is based on a 3% growth forecast.
"We must achieve economic growth exceeding 5% the next year," the prime minister said during a traditional Q&A session in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on November 17.
According to the head of government, economic growth will allow a further improvement in citizens' living standards and modernization of the country.

As UNIAN reported, Groysman said earlier that the country's economy might grow to 5%-7% in 2019.
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers reviewed the forecast of GDP growth in Ukraine in 2017 downwards to 1.8% from 3%.
The country's GDP is expected to grow by 1.9% in 2017, by 3% in 2018, and by 4% in 2019, according to Ukraine's National Bank estimates.
The International Monetary Fund forecasts the country's GDP will grow by 2% in 2017, by 3.2% in 2018, and by 3.5% in 2019.
