Ukraine sees retail trade grow by 8.2% in 10 months

Retail trade in Ukraine grew by 8.2% in January-October 2017 year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service's website.

However, the service has not disclosed absolute values.

Retail turnover increased most in Zakarpattia, Odesa, Vinnytsia, and Lviv regions – by 19.7%, 15.2%, 13.3%, and 12.4%, respectively.

As UNIAN reported earlier, retail trade in Ukraine increased by 8.8% in January-September 2017 y-o-y (in comparable prices), to UAH 578.049 billion, or US$21.8 billion.

In 2016, retail trade in Ukraine rose by 3.7% from 2015 (in comparable prices), to UAH 1.159 trillion ($43.8 billion).
