Mingarelli explained that there were four requirements that Ukraine had yet to fulfill: lifting the ban on roundwood exports, launching an automatic e-declaration verification system, adopting the law on the NBU credit registry, and data verification on the beneficial owners of businesses, Europeiska Pravda reports.

The ambassador noted that a deadline was set for Ukraine to meet these conditions, and that the deadline expires within the next few days.

The head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine added that the deadline could not be prolonged, and if in a few days the European Commission finds that said requirements have not been met, Ukraine will lose the money.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in July 2017, during a Kyiv visit, Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis said that in order to receive the third EUR 00 million tranche of macro-financial assistance from the EU in December, Ukraine should show the implementation of all requirements as early as October.
