Exports of Ukrainian goods to EU up 10% since DCFTA launch

Since the introduction of the Ukraine-EU Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area on January 1, 2016, the export of Ukrainian goods to the European countries grew by 10%, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said, speaking at the "One Belt - One Way" forum in Tbilisi.

"For more than a year, we’ve had an agreement on a free trade area with the EU, and already during this period we have seen an increase in the exports of Ukrainian goods to the EU markets grow by 10%," Groysman said.

According to the prime minister, the share of Ukrainian exports to Europe is 40%.

DCFTA with the European Union fully entered into force on January 1, 2016.
