Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said Ukraine is home to the world's 2nd or 3rd largest gas deposits.
"Ukraine ranks the world's second or third in terms of the size of gas deposits, according to the research by various acclaimed organizations," he said at a forum in Kyiv.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in June, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion said that Ukraine owned explored gas reserves of more than 920 billion cubic meters, of which Ukraine exploits only 2% a year, whereas the average share in European countries reaches 8-12%.
