Ukraine reported a surplus of the balance of payments of $2.074 billion in January-October 2017, which was 1.9 times more than a surplus of $1.067 billion in the same period of the previous year, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
In October alone, the balance of payments was estimated at $155 million in surplus, which was 1.7 times more than the surplus a year before.

Financial account revenue amounted to $563 million in October and $5.338 billion in January-October.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the balance of payments of Ukraine in 2016 showed a surplus of $1.346 billion, which was 1.6 times more than a surplus of $849 million in 2015. There was a current account surplus for the second consecutive year after a current account deficit estimated at $13.3 billion in 2014.
